Classic large mug, thrown on the pottery wheel in stoneware and double dipped glazed. This mug is perfect for hot drinks and everyday enjoyment, around 10oz, 10 cm tall and with a handle but big enough for a two finger grip.

Kirikiri is a natural tone, showing off the natural clay elements. Kirikiri means sand, or shoreline in Te reo māori which is perfect for this tone.

Pōuriuri means darkest green in te reo Māori, te moana pōuriuri - like the darkest part of the ocean. This green is true dark green.

Aumoana means Oceanic in te reo Māori, to look out onto the moana - it is a light egg shell blue.

Hōrua is inspired by kōkōwai and this glaze is a celebration of wild uku/clay and earth pigments. It is a deep red glaze with chocolate brown stain glaze

Designed and created on Waiheke Island, New Zealand.
